Zach's Heart Story
| Told by his grandma Angie.
Diagnosis: Congenital Heart Disease I am not little Zach’s mother I am his grandmother. Being a grandmom is the greatest feeling. When my daughter found out about Zach’s problem, I was very upset and scared, this is my baby’s baby what was wrong, is it something that came from our famiy or just something that happened. As it turned out it was somethng that just happened. When Zach was born I was there and it was a wonderful feeling. When he was taken to Childrens Hospital It was scary but I had to be strong for my daughter. Zach’s short life was a never ending trip to the drs and surgeries, and you just have to pray to God to help you get thru it. Zach brought such happiness and meaning to the life of his grandparents, his smiles and his little accomplishments are something I will always remember. His little life was short but the impack that he had on our family will always be remembered with happiness. If you are a grandparent just stand by your child and enjoy yourself. |
