Sierra’s Heart Story
| Told by her mother Debbie.
Diagnosis: Hypoplastic Right Ventricle, Tricuspid Artresia, Transposition of Great Arteries I found out in my 31st week of pregnancy. I knew she was a girl. I had been seeing the doctor who found it because I was high-risk. He sent me to Fort Worth immediately. I cried all the way there and all the way home, I was scared to death I didn’t know really what to expect. I also have a 12 year old 10 then and he was scared about what would happen with his sister. We had it planned I had to have her in Fort Worth so she could go straight over to Cooks when I had her. I had her naturally, no c-section, and she looked wonderful. As scared as I was and blaming myself because I was diabetic that this happened. She is my true miracle. And it was so worth it.
