Volunteer for IMH

IMH has many volunteer opportunites available for all to help wether you live in or out of town. Not all positions needed are listed so if you have talents that you think would benefit IMH, please complete the Volunteer Info Form. Comfort Bag Drive
We need to find organizations, companies and individuals that will be willing to donate items that are needed for our Comfort Bags. These bags will go to Congenital Heart Defects patients and their families in the hospital. We can provide you with a list of items, approved by the hospital, that you can ask for when approaching potential sponsors.

Grant Writers
If you have any grant writing experience or eager to help, then we need you! Grants will help further our endeavors and supply IMH with the funds to carry out Congenital Heart Defects community awareness and programs inside and outside the hospital.

Brochures & Flyer Distribution
We need volunteers to get the word out about our group. You can help by distributing flyers and brochures in pediatrician offices, OBGYN offices, schools, etc. Contact us know if you’re interested and we’ll supply you with the materials.

Bilingual Volunteers
If you know any other languages and would like to share your talents with us then it would be deeply appreciated. We currently need someone who speaks Spanish and is willing to come to our support meetings to translate and to translate our brochures and flyers.

Graphics & Design
For those of you that are artistically talented, we could use some help developing graphics and creating document layouts that are professional and exciting.

No experience is needed to participate to be an Officer or volunteer. If you’re interested in helping those affected by Congenital Heart Defects please email walk@itsmyheart.org. You can also check out local area chapters closest to you if you’re interested in making a difference inside your community.

It will take a team to accomplish all our goals and together we can all make a difference. We look forward to working with you and getting to know your family.
