Government Action
Though we prefer our politics, on every level – Local, State and National, to be honorable and citizen driven, it would be a huge mistake for anyone to brush off interest or participation and not be an informed voter. It has been said that, “Politics is the way that democracies resolve legitimate conflicts without resorting to violence.”
With this point of view, it becomes our shared obligation to participate in the political process. When we engage in politics, we advance attainable solutions as a civil and polite society should – violence free.
IMH encourages you to consider your involvement and activity from the grassroots level at school board elections on up to voting for the President as not only a noble endeavor but an essential commitment of all eligible voters in the world’s most democratic experiment – The United States of America.
